OUTDOOR WORK SAFETY

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course has been developed to introduce you to the basic elements of safely working outdoors. Many people enjoy working outdoors. The fresh air and the sunshine can be very satisfying. Working outdoors may eliminate many of the hazards that are present inside of a facility, but it also presents its own particular risks. Since most of us spend time outdoors while we are at home, the hazards and the precautions that we will review can be used to promote safety there as well.

REGULATORY REFERENCE:

29 CFR 1910 Subpart I – Personal Protective Equipment Standard
29 CFR 1910 Subpart K – Medical and First Aid Standard
29 CFR 1910.1200 Hazard Communication Standard
OSHA General Duty Clause

APPROXIMATE DURATION:

30 Minutes
